This piece was created for the Jessup Art Show in April 2024. It was inspired by the idea of being “set apart” as a Christian. While the world seems perfectly content to be endlessly busy, the Bible expresses the importance of rest and of taking time to be with God. This is a lesson that I am continually learning and an encouragement I hope to share! He calls us to come to Him and listen as He speaks life back into our weary souls (Matthew 10:38-42, 11:28-30; Psalm 23).
